A video is playing with a woman wearing glasses and a black hoodie, speaking into a blue and pink podcast-style microphone, set against a soft pink background. The course sidebar on the left shows sections like "Overview," "Introduction," and "Survey time!" The academy logo is visible at the top of the course interface. Multiple browser tabs are open, indicating an active user session.

The Online Lecture Series That Teaches Artists How to Sell, Strategize, and Show Up

Marketing doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.
You just need someone to teach it in a way that actually makes sense to you—as an artist.

That’s exactly what I’ve built with the Artist’s Launch Academy to first start with an online lecture.

I don’t just throw a bunch of info at you and hope you figure it out.

Instead, I use a fictional artist named Alex Chavez as a case study throughout the academy.

You’ll learn everything with her—watching how I build her marketing plan, fix her website, create her launch strategy, and more. Then, you’ll practice those same skills in your workbook.

Alex Chavez, a fictional artist featured in the Artist's Launch Academy, smiles warmly while sitting at an outdoor art market booth. She wears a colorful dress and has long curly hair. Her table is filled with vibrant, textured paintings and art prints. In the background, a lively crowd walks through the market, with string lights adding a warm, inviting glow to the scene. The image captures Alex's approachable and joyful energy, reflecting her passion for public events and connecting with art lovers.

Why a fictional artist?

Because real artists are too unique to teach one-size-fits-all strategies.

Alex gives me the freedom to show you every kind of marketing move an artist might need—while giving you space to adapt it for your own journey.

What’s Included: 7 Self-Paced Modules

This is not just “watch and hope for the best.” You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of your marketing ecosystem and a plan to launch (or relaunch) your website the right way.

You’ll go through:

1. Basic Marketing Theory

What is marketing really, and why does it matter for artists? Learn the psychology and purpose behind visibility, branding, and audience behavior.

Take a look at the data gathered from the pilot program about Module 1: Basic Marketing Theory.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Theory

Get a solid foundation in SEO—what it is, how it works, and how to start building visibility that doesn’t depend on social media.

Search Engine is one of the least confident marketing strategy by the artists in the pilot program BUT they all saw a dramatic jump in confidence in Module 2: Search Engine Optimization.

3. Research for Your Website

Before you build anything, we do the groundwork. You’ll learn how to research your audience, your niche, and your competitors to make sure your website is built with strategy.

Learn more about how the artists did research in Module 3: Research for Your Website.

4. Launch Your Website

Choose your template, plug in your content, and follow my step-by-step guide to actually get it live (without a panic attack). You’ll learn how to turn your website into a sales tool, not just an online portfolio.

5. Learning How to Create a Marketing Plan

See exactly what goes into a real artist marketing plan using my fictional artist as an example. We break it down into categories like collaborations, product launches, events, and long-term growth.

6. Creating Your Marketing Plan

This is where you build your own. You’ll map out blog post ideas, social campaigns, email marketing flows, and more. Yes, I walk you through all of it—step by step.

7. Beyond the Launch: Collaborations & Networking

Your website is just the beginning. I’ll teach you how to build community, create mutually beneficial collaborations, and boost your visibility through partnerships and outreach.

The screen displays a grid of smiling participants—eight artists from the Artist's Launch Academy pilot program—actively engaged in discussion and feedback. Two central participants are spotlighted, sitting on a couch with cheerful expressions, one holding a coffee mug. The meeting is part of a feedback session to refine and perfect the academy before public launch. Tabs and apps are visible on the computer screen, suggesting an actively managed workspace.

How Long Will It Take?

Artists in the pilot phase tracked their time, and here’s what we found:

🕒 You can expect to finish the academy in 3 to 6 months, depending on how much time you dedicate.

To stay on track, I recommend setting aside a minimum of 8 hours per week for 6 months.

This isn’t a binge-and-burn course.

It’s a full education. You’ll be learning, practicing, planning, and implementing—all at your own pace.
