Today starts day one of Module 3 in the pilot phase with these 8 amazing artists.
When I started Artist’s Launch Academy, I knew I wanted to create something different—something that didn’t just tell artists what to do but actually walked them through how to do it. From the very beginning, the academy has been about meeting artists where they are, providing practical tools and strategies to help them grow their art businesses.
As of right now, I am waiting for the workbooks to arrive at the 8 artists homes so we can schedule the zoom meeting to work on this 112 page monster of a workbook that I created. This module is all about research so I am going to do less talking and more directing as they fill out the workbook together 2 times a week for the next 3 weeks.

When this academy launches publicly, this will be a pre-recorded module walking you through filling out the workbook with you.
Not all of the modules will be mainly filling out the workbook, Module 1 (Marketing Overview) and 2 (Search Engine Optimization) were less than Module 3 combined but I do a lot of lecturing and directing you through scenario based questions so you can understand the marketing theories especially SEO before we move onto Module 4 (Launching a Website).
What Module 3 in Artist's Launch Academy Does
After speaking with over 100 artists, a couple of trends emerged. Artists need a foundational knowledge of how to plan for launching a website. After building custom websites for artists and other business owners over the last 4 years, I know that the more research and planning that you do before you ever even type in wix.com in the browser.
For my custom websites, I ask a very extensive survey before the artist even pays the first part of the invoice and we meet for a design meeting. I like to make websites once and usually have very minimal edits from any client.

Keyword Research and Messaging per Page
To ensure your website gets noticed, we'll conduct keyword research tailored to your art and audience.
